Retired IAS Officer Rakesh Agrawal Murdered in Bhopal; Five Questions Remain Unanswered

TV9 Hindi · india

Retired IAS officer Rakesh Agrawal, 70, was found murdered in his Bhopal residence. Police suspect the caretaker, hired just days before, who is now absconding. The motive remains unclear as valuables were untouched, though Agrawal's phone is missing. A broken cupboard suggests a robbery attempt, but nothing was stolen. Investigators are also examining a potential plot to set the house on fire, indicated by a detached gas cylinder pipe and open regulator. The lack of CCTV and the caretaker's disappearance complicate the investigation.
