The Telangana Cabinet has approved the release of two pending Dearness Allowance (DA) instalments for government employees and pensioners, incurring an annual financial burden of ₹2,500 crore. The decision aligns with assurances given to employee unions. Amidst a 17% rainfall deficit due to El Niño, the Cabinet will form a sub-committee to examine drought mitigation measures, consult stakeholders, and seek central assistance. They also approved significant renewable energy projects totalling 7,800 MW and decided to procure adequate power to meet increased demand.

तेलंगाना कैबिनेट ने सरकारी कर्मचारियों और पेंशनभोगियों के लिए महंगाई भत्ते (डीए) की दो लंबित किस्तों को जारी करने की मंजूरी दे दी है, जिससे ₹2,500 करोड़ का वार्षिक वित्तीय बोझ पड़ेगा। यह निर्णय कर्मचारी संघों को दिए गए आश्वासनों के अनुरूप है। अल नीनो के कारण 17% वर्षा की कमी के बीच, कैबिनेट सूखा राहत उपायों की जांच करने, हितधारकों से परामर्श करने और केंद्रीय सहायता मांगने के लिए एक उप-समिति का गठन करेगी। उन्होंने 7,800 मेगावाट की कुल नवीकरणीय ऊर्जा परियोजनाओं को भी मंजूरी दी और बढ़ी हुई मांग को पूरा करने के लिए पर्याप्त बिजली की खरीद का फैसला किया।
