During a protest by the CJP in Delhi, demonstrators sought refuge in public toilets and a gurdwara to evade police action. Thousands of police and paramilitary personnel were deployed in the capital. Protesters demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and the withdrawal of SIR were hiding in various locations. Over 20 youths hid in an NDMC public toilet in Connaught Place, hoping to evade security and march to Jantar Mantar. Police discovered them during a morning inspection and took them into custody.
