Former West Bengal minister Indranil Sen appeared before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in Kolkata on Wednesday. The probe concerns alleged financial irregularities in Durga Puja preview shows and pass sales by the MassArt Society. The society allegedly collected large sums by falsely claiming UNESCO sponsorship for privileged puja entry between 2022 and 2025. Preliminary estimates suggest irregularities could involve ₹50-60 crore. Sen's wife is the president of MassArt Society, which was set up after Durga Puja received UNESCO recognition.
