This decision is contingent upon the petitioners strictly adhering to the Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000, and a previous 2020 court judgment regarding loudspeaker usage. The court directed the Saharanpur police and district administration not to interfere with this right, provided the petitioners submit a notarized affidavit affirming compliance. The state had previously informed the court that 'azan' itself was not prohibited, only the unregulated use of loudspeakers.

इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट ने सहारनपुर की आयेशा मस्जिद में दिन में पांच बार 'अज़ान' की इज़ाज़त दे दी है। यह फैसला इस शर्त पर है कि याचिकाकर्ता शोर प्रदूषण (विनियमन और नियंत्रण) नियम, 2000 और लाउडस्पीकर के इस्तेमाल को लेकर 2020 के पिछले कोर्ट के फैसले का सख्ती से पालन करें। कोर्ट ने सहारनपुर पुलिस और जिला प्रशासन को इस अधिकार में तब तक दखल न देने का निर्देश दिया है, जब तक याचिकाकर्ता अनुपालन की पुष्टि करने वाला एक नोटरीकृत हलफनामा जमा नहीं कर देते। राज्य ने पहले कोर्ट को सूचित किया था कि 'अज़ान' खुद प्रतिबंधित नहीं है, केवल लाउडस्पीकर का अनियंत्रित उपयोग प्रतिबंधित है।
