Mumbai's iconic Amarsons departmental store, a beloved South Mumbai landmark for over five decades, was reduced to ashes by a devastating fire on Monday. The blaze, suspected to have started from a short circuit, engulfed approximately 5,000 sq ft of the 5,500 sq ft store. Firefighters battled the flames for hours, successfully confining the damage to the shop and preventing it from spreading to the building structure.
