BEML Secures Rs 5,400 Crore Order

BEML shares rose nearly 4% after the company announced it secured a significant order worth over Rs 5,400 crore from the National High Speed Rail Corporation. This contract is for supplying and maintaining high-speed rolling stock and related works for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Corridor. BEML, a Ministry of Defence company, operates across defence, mining, and rail sectors. The company recently reported a reduced net loss and increased sales in the June quarter.

बीईएमएल (BEML) के शेयर करीब 4% चढ़ गए। कंपनी को नेशनल हाई स्पीड रेल कॉर्पोरेशन से 5,400 करोड़ रुपये से ज़्यादा का बड़ा ऑर्डर मिला है। यह डील मुंबई-अहमदाबाद हाई स्पीड रेल कॉरिडोर के लिए हाई-स्पीड रोलिंग स्टॉक सप्लाई करने और उसका रखरखाव करने की है। बीईएमएल रक्षा मंत्रालय की कंपनी है और रक्षा, खनन व रेल क्षेत्रों में काम करती है। हाल ही में कंपनी ने जून तिमाही में घाटा कम होने और बिक्री बढ़ने की खबर दी थी।
