Bombay HC Hears Plea Against Maharashtra SIR

A petition has been filed in the Bombay High Court challenging the SIR process in Maharashtra. The petitioners are seeking a stay on the ongoing SIR procedure within the state. They have also appealed for the reinstatement of names of voters who were removed from the electoral rolls. Furthermore, the plea requests the cancellation of 14 orders issued by Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The High Court is now scheduled to hear the matter.

बॉम्बे हाई कोर्ट में महाराष्ट्र में SIR प्रक्रिया को चुनौती देने वाली एक याचिका दायर की गई है। याचिकाकर्ताओं ने राज्य में चल रही SIR प्रक्रिया पर रोक लगाने की मांग की है। उन्होंने वोटरों के नाम जो मतदाता सूची से हटा दिए गए थे, उन्हें फिर से जोड़ने की भी अपील की है। इसके अलावा, याचिका में मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञानेश कुमार द्वारा जारी 14 आदेशों को रद्द करने का अनुरोध किया गया है। हाई कोर्ट अब इस मामले की सुनवाई करेगा।
