Pakistan and Kuwait Formalize Defense Pact

Kuwait has officially ratified a defense cooperation agreement with Pakistan, three years after its initial signing. This pact was approved via decree-law no. 73 of 2026 and subsequently published in the official gazette, Kuwait Al-Youm. The formalization of this defense pact between Pakistan and Kuwait occurs amidst a broader Gulf security crisis and heightened tensions involving the US and Iran, potentially strengthening regional security ties.
