Cyber crime reports have seen a substantial decrease, falling from 1.2 lakh in 2024 to 16,377 currently, according to government data. The Supreme Court has urged swift action against cyber fraudsters and directed authorities to expedite decisions on a 'kill switch' for phones. Banks will now hold funds transferred to mule accounts, and victims will receive recovered amounts faster post-investigation.

सरकारी आंकड़ों के मुताबिक, साइबर अपराध के मामलों में भारी कमी आई है। 2024 में 1.2 लाख से घटकर अब ये 16,377 रह गए हैं। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने साइबर ठगों पर तुरंत कार्रवाई करने और फोन के लिए 'किल स्विच' पर फैसले में तेजी लाने का निर्देश दिया है। अब बैंकों को ऐसे खातों में जमा रकम रोकनी होगी और जांच के बाद पीड़ितों को जल्दी पैसा वापस मिलेगा।
