Engineers Create Near-Invisible Drone Using Spinning

University engineers have developed a prototype drone capable of near-invisibility by spinning its entire body up to 25 times per second. Dubbed the Phantom Twist, the drone uses a single motor to spin the airframe in one direction while its propeller spins oppositely. This innovative design, tested through an AI pipeline that explored 20,000 layouts, aims to make drones harder to detect.
