India's Free Trade Agreement with New Zealand will take effect on Tuesday,. Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal stated that labour-intensive sectors like textiles, apparel, leather, and gems and jewellery will be major beneficiaries. The deal grants duty-free access for all Indian goods to New Zealand, India's second-largest export market in Oceania. This agreement aims to boost exports amidst global supply chain realignments and is projected to catalyze $20 billion in investments into India.

भारत का न्यूज़ीलैंड के साथ मुक्त व्यापार समझौता मंगलवार से लागू होगा। वाणिज्य मंत्री पीयूष गोयल ने कहा कि कपड़ा, परिधान, चमड़ा, और रत्न एवं आभूषण जैसे श्रम-गहन क्षेत्र प्रमुख लाभार्थी होंगे। इस समझौते के तहत भारत के सभी सामानों को न्यूज़ीलैंड में ड्यूटी-फ्री पहुँच मिलेगी, जो ओशिनिया में भारत का दूसरा सबसे बड़ा निर्यात बाज़ार है। यह समझौता वैश्विक आपूर्ति श्रृंखला पुनर्गठनों के बीच निर्यात को बढ़ावा देने का लक्ष्य रखता है और भारत में 20 अरब डॉलर के निवेश को उत्प्रेरित करने का अनुमान है।
