Tatanagar Station's Rs 350 Crore Redevelopment Project Targeted For 2028 Completion

The redevelopment of Tatanagar railway station, a project valued at Rs 350 crore, is slated for completion by the end of 2028, according to South Eastern Railway additional general manager Manish Jain. The project includes a new six-storey station building, expanded parking, escalators, lifts, and upgraded passenger amenities. Jain also reviewed preparations for a Vande Bharat coaching depot and the proposed third railway line between Tatanagar and Adityapur. These upgrades aim to enhance passenger experience and streamline train operations amidst rising rail traffic.

टाटानगर स्टेशन का 350 करोड़ का रीडेवलपमेंट प्रोजेक्ट 2028 तक पूरा होने का लक्ष्य

साउथ ईस्टर्न रेलवे के एडिशनल जनरल मैनेजर मनीष जैन ने बताया कि 350 करोड़ रुपये की लागत वाली टाटानगर रेलवे स्टेशन के रीडेवलपमेंट का काम 2028 के अंत तक पूरा होने की उम्मीद है। इस प्रोजेक्ट में छह मंजिला नया स्टेशन भवन, बड़ा पार्किंग एरिया, एस्केलेटर, लिफ्ट और यात्रियों के लिए बेहतर सुविधाएं शामिल हैं। जैन ने वंदे भारत कोचिंग डिपो की तैयारियों और टाटानगर-आदित्यपुर के बीच प्रस्तावित तीसरी रेलवे लाइन का भी जायजा लिया। इन सुधारों का मकसद बढ़ते रेल ट्रैफिक के बीच यात्रियों के अनुभव को बेहतर बनाना और ट्रेनों के संचालन को सुचारू बनाना है।
