Four deep grooves of potential prehistoric significance have been identified near the Banda Juvvi watchtower in Mrugavani National Park at Chilkur. Historian Satyanarayana Dyavanapalli suggests these grooves could be linked to Neolithic-period activities dating back to around the fifth millennium BCE. Additionally, ochre-coloured rock paintings depicting animals and geometric designs were found a kilometre away near the Forest Trek Park.
