Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is undertaking a three-day official visit to Singapore from October 9-11 to strengthen investment ties. She will hold high-level meetings with Singapore's political leadership, including President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and Prime Minister Lawrence Wong. The minister will also engage with global institutional investors and business leaders, including CEOs of major financial and healthcare firms. Discussions will focus on advancing the India-Singapore Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, covering trade, digital finance, capital markets, and advanced manufacturing, aiming to boost foreign direct investment into India.
