Al Jazeera · world

The Republican Hospital in Yemen's Taiz city is facing a critical shortage of medical supplies and fuel due to a renewed Houthi siege. The dialysis center director warned that operations could cease within days, forcing a reduction in treatment sessions. This siege, which began in early October, has disrupted the delivery of essential supplies normally provided by the Ministry of Health. International organizations like Amnesty International are calling for the immediate reopening of vital roads, as the blockade threatens access to food, water, and healthcare for hundreds of thousands.
