Apple Pay has officially launched in India on September 30, 2026, over a decade after initial discussions. The service allows users to make payments via iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch at physical stores, within apps, and on websites. However, the India offering is more limited than its US counterpart, initially supporting only eligible Axis Bank-issued Visa and Mastercard credit cards.
