Man gets 20-year jail term for drugging and raping a 13-year-old minor

A court in Hisar has sentenced Vikas to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment for luring away and raping a 13-year-old Class X student. The incident occurred, after the accused allegedly drugged the minor with a burger. He then threatened her and attempted to take her to Delhi by train before abandoning her in Hisar. The case was registered, following the victim's complaint to her mother. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 71,000 on the convict.

हिसार की एक अदालत ने विकास को 13 साल की दसवीं की छात्रा को बहला-फुसलाकर रेप करने के आरोप में 20 साल की कड़ी कैद की सजा सुनाई है। यह घटना तब हुई जब आरोपी ने कथित तौर पर बर्गर खिलाकर नाबालिग को नशीला पदार्थ दिया था। इसके बाद उसने उसे धमकी दी और दिल्ली ले जाने की कोशिश की, लेकिन ट्रेन में ही उसे हिसार में छोड़ दिया। पीड़ित के अपनी मां से शिकायत करने के बाद मामला दर्ज किया गया था। अदालत ने दोषी पर 71,000 रुपये का जुर्माना भी लगाया है।
