CJP Founder's Grandmother Dies Hours After His Detention in Delhi

Savitribai Dipke, the 85-year-old paternal grandmother of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke, passed away on Saturday. Her death occurred just hours after Dipke and fellow activists were detained by Delhi Police upon their arrival in the national capital from Mumbai. They were travelling to Delhi to participate in a planned protest against the Chief Election Commissioner over alleged voter-list manipulation. Security had been significantly increased around Dipke's residence in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar in anticipation of the demonstration. It remains unclear if Dipke has been informed of his grandmother's passing.

कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी (CJP) के संस्थापक अभिजीत दीपके की 85 वर्षीय पैतृक दादी सावित्रीबाई दीपके का शनिवार को निधन हो गया। दीपके और साथी कार्यकर्ताओं को मुंबई से राष्ट्रीय राजधानी दिल्ली पहुंचने पर दिल्ली पुलिस ने हिरासत में ले लिया था, जिसके कुछ ही घंटे बाद उनकी दादी का निधन हुआ। वे कथित मतदाता सूची में हेरफेर के खिलाफ मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त के विरोध प्रदर्शन में भाग लेने के लिए दिल्ली जा रहे थे। प्रदर्शन की आशंका के चलते दीपके के छत्रपति संभाजीनगर स्थित आवास के आसपास सुरक्षा कड़ी कर दी गई थी। यह स्पष्ट नहीं है कि दीपके को अपनी दादी के निधन के बारे में सूचित किया गया है या नहीं।
