A Bengaluru court has handed down life sentences to two men for the 2021 kidnapping and murder of a 47-year-old widow, Seetha Achar. This landmark verdict was delivered despite the victim's body never being recovered. The convicts, Noor Ahmed S and Satyanarayana, were found guilty of orchestrating a contract killing stemming from a property dispute. They allegedly poisoned Seetha and disposed of her body in a canal. The prosecution successfully proved the murder through evidence and confessions, overcoming attempts to mislead the court.
