China Leads Global Math Scores, US Ranks 27th

Fifteen-year-old students from China, specifically Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang, achieved the highest score in the PISA global test with 612 points in mathematics. This places them significantly ahead of the United States, which ranked 27th with 463 points, matching the OECD average. Singapore followed China in second place. Seven of the top ten positions were held by East Asian countries, indicating a strong regional performance in mathematics education.
