The Walt Disney Company is reportedly planning a significant restructuring of its television business, which is expected to result in hundreds of layoffs. This internal overhaul aims to merge operations across separate creative divisions and streamline the company's expansive media empire. The changes follow previous workforce reductions that have already impacted divisions like Pixar, marketing, ABC News, and ESPN. Disney's legal and global affairs division, comprising about 1,000 employees, is also preparing for job cuts.
