US Representative Rashida Tlaib has called for the arrest of an Israeli soldier, Sean Glass, believed to be responsible for the death of five-year-old Hind Rajab in Gaza. Tlaib stated that the US has a legal obligation to investigate Glass for war crimes and acts of genocide, citing his alleged command of the unit present at the scene. The Hind Rajab Foundation has filed a request with the US Department of Justice for Glass's arrest. Rajab's killing in January 2024 became a symbol of civilian targeting during the conflict.
