Punjab Woman 'Revived' For Loan Fraud

A Punjab woman, deceased since November 2019, was allegedly revived in official records three years later when a Rs 40,000 loan was sanctioned in her name using forged documents. The Punjab State Crime Cell has registered a case against five individuals following an inquiry into the loan fraud. Investigators found that another woman's photograph was used in the loan application. The inquiry also flagged two other similar loan fraud incidents involving fake documents and identities.

पंजाब की महिला लोन धोखाधड़ी में 'जीवित' पाई गई

पंजाब की एक महिला, जो नवंबर 2019 से मृत थी, के नाम पर फर्जी दस्तावेजों से 40,000 रुपये का लोन पास होने के तीन साल बाद उसे रिकॉर्ड में जीवित दिखाया गया। पंजाब स्टेट क्राइम सेल ने इस लोन धोखाधड़ी की जांच के बाद पांच लोगों के खिलाफ केस दर्ज किया है। जांच में पता चला कि लोन आवेदन में किसी दूसरी महिला की फोटो लगाई गई थी। जांच में ऐसे ही दो अन्य लोन धोखाधड़ी के मामले भी सामने आए हैं।
