Nothing's CMF To Operate As Standalone Indian Company

Smartphone maker Nothing is spinning off its sub-brand CMF to operate as an independent Indian company, majority Indian-owned and headquartered in the country. CEO Carl Pei stated that India possesses a strong manufacturing base and a large market, but lacks a brand to drive engineering demand. This move aims to build engineering capabilities and turn India into a global consumer electronics export hub.

नथिंग (Nothing) कंपनी अपने सब-ब्रांड CMF को भारत में एक स्वतंत्र कंपनी के तौर पर शुरू कर रही है। यह कंपनी ज़्यादातर भारतीय मालिकाना हक़ वाली होगी और इसका हेडक्वार्टर भी भारत में ही होगा। CEO कार्ल पेई ने कहा कि भारत में मैन्युफैक्चरिंग और बाज़ार तो है, पर इंजीनियरिंग की मांग बढ़ाने वाला कोई ब्रांड नहीं है। इस कदम से भारत में इंजीनियरिंग क्षमताएं बढ़ेंगी और देश इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स एक्सपोर्ट का बड़ा हब बनेगा।
