Dinesh Sharma Appointed Andaman & Nicobar Lt Governor

Bharatiya Janata Party leader Dinesh Sharma has been appointed as the new Lieutenant Governor of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The 62-year-old politician previously served as the Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. His term in the Rajya Sabha was scheduled to conclude on November 25.

भारतीय जनता पार्टी के नेता दिनेश शर्मा को अंडमान और निकोबार द्वीप समूह का नया लेफ्टिनेंट गवर्नर बनाया गया है। 62 वर्षीय यह नेता पहले उत्तर प्रदेश के उपमुख्यमंत्री रह चुके हैं। राज्यसभा में उनका कार्यकाल 25 नवंबर को समाप्त होने वाला था। यह नियुक्ति उनके राजनीतिक अनुभव को देखते हुए की गई है।
