A 75-year-old Canadian national, Christiane Vinette Young, has been charged in Florida for allegedly voting in three US federal elections. Prosecutors stated she was unlawfully present and knew she was not a US citizen when she cast ballots in the 2024 general election, the 2022 general election, and the 2022 primary election. Young faces three counts of voting by an alien, with a potential maximum sentence of three years in federal prison if convicted. This case is being investigated by Homeland Security Investigations.
