Kaveri 2.0 Engine Project Revived For Future Jets

India's Kaveri jet engine project is showing signs of revival after years of delays. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has urged scientists to develop sixth-generation fighter engines soon. Technologies from the Kaveri program will support future combat aircraft and unmanned vehicles. This renewed focus aims for self-reliance in military aviation propulsion systems, as India currently relies on imported GE engines for its fighter fleet.

भारत के कावेरी जेट इंजन प्रोजेक्ट में सालों की देरी के बाद फिर से जान आ रही है। रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने वैज्ञानिकों से जल्द छठी पीढ़ी के फाइटर इंजन बनाने को कहा है। कावेरी प्रोग्राम की तकनीकें भविष्य के लड़ाकू विमानों और ड्रोन में इस्तेमाल होंगी। इसका मकसद सैन्य विमानों के इंजन बनाने में आत्मनिर्भर बनना है, क्योंकि अभी फाइटर जेट्स के लिए हम GE इंजन बाहर से लेते हैं।
