ECI Directs BLOs to Re-enroll Eligible Voters Left Out in Deleted Lists

ECI has instructed Chief Electoral Officers across states and union territories to ensure eligible voters whose names were deleted are re-enrolled. Booth Level Officers (BLOs) must compare current electoral rolls with previous ones, identify omissions, and conduct door-to-door visits. Eligible individuals will be enrolled using Form 6 within one month. Special camps will also be organized for marginalized communities and those in shelters. This directive follows the deletion of approximately 13.3 crore names during the Special Intensive Revision process.
