The Telangana state cabinet is expected to approve two Dearness Allowances (DAs) for government employees on Thursday. One or both of these DAs are anticipated to be disbursed before the Dasara festival next month. This decision follows the call-off of a proposed strike by employees after assurances from the deputy chief minister. The cabinet will also discuss irrigation, drinking water issues, and repairs to Kaleshwaram project barrages. Other agenda items include revenue matters and the potential reversion to the old pension system.
