टाटा संस के चेयरमैन एन चंद्रशेखरन ने रोम में इटली की प्रधानमंत्री जॉर्जिया मेलोनी से मुलाकात की और इवको ग्रुप के अधिग्रहण पर चर्चा की। इस मुलाकात ने भारत और इटली के बीच बढ़ते रणनीतिक औद्योगिक और आर्थिक संबंधों पर जोर दिया। टाटा मोटर्स ने हाल ही में इवको में 89.42 प्रतिशत हिस्सेदारी लगभग 3.43 बिलियन यूरो में खरीदी है। चंद्रशेखरन ने अधिग्रहण प्रक्रिया के दौरान इतालवी सरकार के समर्थन के लिए आभार व्यक्त किया और इवको की औद्योगिक विरासत और क्षमताओं पर जोर दिया। इस सहयोग का लक्ष्य एक वैश्विक वाणिज्यिक वाहन महाशक्ति बनाना है।
