Kerala Police Officer Arrested For Stealing Tobacco

A special police team has apprehended a senior civil police officer, Sabith, in Ernakulam, Kerala, who was on the run for ten days after allegedly stealing seven bags of seized banned tobacco products. The theft occurred from the Sulthan Bathery Police Station in Wayanad district. Sabith was suspended from service after CCTV footage indicated he used a key to access the evidence room and remove the products.

केरल के एर्नाकुलम में पुलिस ने एक बड़े अधिकारी, सबिथ को पकड़ लिया है। सबिथ दस दिनों से फरार था। उस पर आरोप है कि उसने वायनाड जिले के सुल्तान बाथरी पुलिस स्टेशन से सात बैग प्रतिबंधित तंबाकू उत्पाद चुराए थे। सीसीटीवी फुटेज में सबिथ को सबूतों के कमरे से सामान ले जाते हुए देखा गया था। इसके बाद उसे नौकरी से निलंबित कर दिया गया था।
