BJP Supporter Shot Dead in Bengal; Six Injured Amid Political Clashes

A 35-year-old Bharatiya Janata Party supporter, Samir Ghosh, was fatally shot and assaulted with sharp weapons in West Bengal's Malda district on Wednesday evening. The incident, which occurred in the Ramkeli area, triggered violent clashes between two groups, resulting in at least six injuries. The injured individuals received medical treatment at Malda Medical College and Hospital. Police have deployed additional personnel to maintain order and are investigating the motive behind the killing, with no arrests made yet.
