Manipur Launches Massive Search Operations After Militant Killings

Security forces in Manipur launched a large-scale cordon and search operation in Noney on Thursday, following the killing of three militants in clashes between rival Naga groups. Over 500 personnel from the Manipur Police, CRPF's CoBRA unit, and Assam Rifles are involved in the operation across Nungba and Kekru Naga areas. Meanwhile, thousands of Nagas gathered in Ukhrul and Kamjong, protesting and demanding the withdrawal of Assam Rifles, an end to the conflict, and the abrogation of a pact with Kuki outfits.
