Municipal Elections in Leh and Kargil Scheduled for November 21

Ladakh's Chief Electoral Officer has announced that elections for the municipal committees of Leh and Kargil will be held on November 21. These elections will cover a total of 38 wards across the two districts. The notification will be issued on October 29, with November 5 as the deadline for nominations. The entire election process, including polling and the completion of results, is slated to conclude by November 30. The model code of conduct is now in effect and will remain so until the process is finished.

लद्दाख के मुख्य निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने घोषणा की है कि लेह और कारगिल नगर समितियों के लिए चुनाव 21 नवंबर को होंगे। इन चुनावों में दोनों जिलों के कुल 38 वार्ड शामिल होंगे। अधिसूचना 29 अक्टूबर को जारी की जाएगी, और नामांकन की अंतिम तिथि 5 नवंबर होगी। मतदान और नतीजों की घोषणा सहित पूरी चुनाव प्रक्रिया 30 नवंबर तक पूरी होने की उम्मीद है। आदर्श आचार संहिता अब लागू हो गई है और प्रक्रिया पूरी होने तक लागू रहेगी।
