Shriram Properties plans to invest an additional Rs 4,000 crore into its Uttarpara project in Kolkata. This significant investment will fuel the development of 7 million to 10 million square feet of mixed-use real estate, including residential, commercial, healthcare, and education facilities. The company has already invested Rs 2,000 crore and acquired land in 2005. This expansion aims to transform the Uttarpara area into a major hub, potentially mirroring the success of Bengaluru's Whitefield.
