Punjab DGP Claims No Political Interference In War On Drugs & Gangsters

Punjab Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav asserted that the state police are conducting an "all-out war" against drugs and terror modules without any political interference. He stated that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has provided a free hand to address law and order challenges. Yadav highlighted that the force operates professionally, collaborating with central agencies to maintain peace. He cited statistics showing Punjab's crime rate is lower than the national average and that organized crime has declined.

पंजाब के पुलिस महानिदेशक गौरव यादव ने दावा किया कि राज्य पुलिस बिना किसी राजनीतिक दखल के ड्रग्स और आतंकी मॉड्यूल के खिलाफ 'जंग' चला रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान ने कानून-व्यवस्था की चुनौतियों से निपटने के लिए पूरी छूट दी है। यादव ने बताया कि पुलिस पेशेवर तरीके से काम कर रही है और शांति बनाए रखने के लिए केंद्रीय एजेंसियों के साथ मिलकर काम कर रही है। उन्होंने आंकड़े बताते हुए कहा कि पंजाब में अपराध दर राष्ट्रीय औसत से कम है और संगठित अपराध में कमी आई है।
