Gurugram has banned all dust-generating construction and demolition activities from November 5 to 20 due to rising air pollution. Government and private offices are directed to limit physical attendance to 50%, with the remainder working from home. This measure follows directions from the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) as the city's air quality index reached 319, entering the 'very poor' category. Exemptions are provided for essential services and national importance projects, provided they follow dust mitigation rules.
