Vande Mataram to be sung before India matches

The national song 'Vande Mataram' will now be sung before all matches involving the Indian team in India, a practice that began with the IND vs AFG match in New Delhi. This follows Parliament passing a bill to make insulting the national song a punishable offense. The full six-stanza version of 'Vande Mataram' was sung, aligning with Home Ministry directives during its 150th anniversary.

अब भारत में भारतीय टीम के सभी मैचों से पहले 'वंदे मातरम' गाया जाएगा। यह नई शुरुआत दिल्ली में भारत और अफ़गानिस्तान के मैच से हुई। संसद ने एक बिल पास किया है, जिसके तहत राष्ट्रीय गीत का अपमान करने पर सज़ा होगी। 'वंदे मातरम' का पूरा छह-कड़वी वाला गीत गाया गया, जो गृह मंत्रालय के निर्देशों के अनुसार था।
