Delhi HC to Hear Plea on Deepfake Photo

The Delhi High Court will hear a woman's plea alleging that four Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leaders used a deepfake image of her with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The woman claims the leaders conducted a cyber-assault, publicly targeting her with a morphed, vulgar image superimposed on another. The alleged incident occurred during a CJP protest at Jantar Mantar. Delhi Police have registered an FIR based on her complaint, investigating under IT Act and BNS provisions. The plea seeks removal of the image from social media.

दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट एक महिला की याचिका पर सुनवाई करेगा। महिला का आरोप है कि चार कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी (CJP) नेताओं ने प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के साथ उसकी डीपफेक तस्वीर का इस्तेमाल किया। महिला का कहना है कि नेताओं ने साइबर हमला किया और उसे एक दूसरी तस्वीर पर आपत्तिजनक, मॉर्फ्ड इमेज लगाकर सार्वजनिक रूप से निशाना बनाया। यह घटना जंतर-मंतर पर CJP विरोध प्रदर्शन के दौरान हुई। दिल्ली पुलिस ने महिला की शिकायत पर FIR दर्ज कर IT Act और BNS के तहत जांच शुरू कर दी है।
