The State Cabinet has approved the acquisition, which includes mandatory GPS fitting for movement monitoring and ensuring complete garbage collection. The new system will deploy 3,000 four-wheelers and 1,900 three-wheelers, capable of handling 9,000 tonnes of garbage daily, a significant increase from the current 5,600 tonnes.
