Hirakud Wildlife Division Launches Safaris, Awards Students

The Hirakud Wildlife Division celebrated Wildlife Week at Sambalpur Zoo, launching two safari vehicles to connect Sambalpur Zoo with the Hirakud-Debrigarh landscape. This initiative aims to boost wildlife tourism and improve access to conservation areas. The event also recognized students for their participation in various competitions like quiz, drawing, art, photography, and debate, with around 250 students being awarded. Additionally, winners of the Chief Minister’s Award for Wildlife Conservation received cash rewards, and death compensation was distributed to families involved in kendu leaf collection.

हीराकुड वन्यजीव मंडल ने संबलपुर चिड़ियाघर में वन्यजीव सप्ताह मनाया, संबलपुर चिड़ियाघर को हीराकुड-देब्रिगढ़ परिदृश्य से जोड़ने के लिए दो सफारी वाहनों की शुरुआत की। इस पहल का उद्देश्य वन्यजीव पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देना और संरक्षण क्षेत्रों तक पहुंच में सुधार करना है। इस कार्यक्रम में क्विज़, ड्राइंग, कला, फोटोग्राफी और बहस जैसी विभिन्न प्रतियोगिताओं में भाग लेने वाले छात्रों को भी सम्मानित किया गया, जिसमें लगभग 250 छात्रों को पुरस्कृत किया गया। इसके अतिरिक्त, वन्यजीव संरक्षण के लिए मुख्यमंत्री पुरस्कार के विजेताओं को नकद पुरस्कार मिले, और तेंदू पत्ता संग्रह में शामिल परिवारों को मृत्यु मुआवजा वितरित किया गया।
