Housing Trust Silicon Valley has unveiled a decade-long strategy to leverage MacKenzie Scott's $30 million donation into lasting housing solutions across the Bay Area. The nonprofit announced its 10-year plan on September 30, 2025, detailing how the unrestricted gift will expand affordable housing, support first-time homebuyers, and bolster policy advocacy. CEO Noni Ramos called the donation, received in October 2024, the largest from an individual in the organization's history. The plan includes initiatives for lending capital, homeownership expansion, policy and partnerships, impact measurement, and innovation investments.
