The Supreme Court has ordered increased police patrolling around educational institutions in Delhi and mandated stricter verification for public transport and app-based cab drivers. This preventive policing regime aims to curb sexual offences following recent rape incidents. The court also directed real-time monitoring of vehicle tracking and SOS systems, and the establishment of command centres for immediate response. Delhi government officials and the police chief are held personally accountable for implementing these measures, with a focus on visible and verifiable action on the ground.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने दिल्ली के शैक्षणिक संस्थानों के आसपास पुलिस गश्त बढ़ाने और पब्लिक ट्रांसपोर्ट और ऐप-आधारित कैब ड्राइवरों के लिए कड़ी जांच का आदेश दिया है। यह निवारक पुलिस व्यवस्था हाल की बलात्कार की घटनाओं के बाद यौन अपराधों को रोकने के उद्देश्य से है। अदालत ने वाहन ट्रैकिंग और SOS सिस्टम की रियल-टाइम निगरानी और तत्काल प्रतिक्रिया के लिए कमांड सेंटर स्थापित करने का भी निर्देश दिया। दिल्ली सरकार के अधिकारियों और पुलिस प्रमुख को इन उपायों को लागू करने के लिए व्यक्तिगत रूप से जवाबदेह ठहराया गया है, जिसमें जमीनी स्तर पर दिखाई देने वाली और सत्यापन योग्य कार्रवाई पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया गया है।
