Hyundai Inaugurates Pune Plant, Plans Rs 11,000 Cr Investment

Hyundai Motor India has officially opened its manufacturing facility in Talegaon, Pune, with plans to invest up to Rs 11,000 crore in phases. The plant's annual production capacity will increase from 1.70 lakh to 3.20 lakh vehicles by 2030. This expansion, alongside Chennai operations, will bring Hyundai's total Indian manufacturing capacity to nearly 11.4 lakh vehicles annually. The facility, acquired from GM India in 2023, can also accommodate hybrid vehicle production and supports global exports to over 35 countries.

हुंडई मोटर इंडिया ने पुणे के तलेगांव में अपनी मैन्युफैक्चरिंग फैसिलिटी का आधिकारिक तौर पर उद्घाटन कर दिया है। कंपनी फेज में 11,000 करोड़ रुपये तक का निवेश करने की योजना बना रही है। प्लांट की सालाना प्रोडक्शन कैपेसिटी 2030 तक 1.70 लाख से बढ़कर 3.20 लाख गाड़ियां हो जाएगी। चेन्नई ऑपरेशंस के साथ, इस विस्तार से हुंडई की भारत में कुल मैन्युफैक्चरिंग कैपेसिटी सालाना करीब 11.4 लाख गाड़ियां हो जाएगी। यह फैसिलिटी, जिसे 2023 में GM India से अधिग्रहित किया गया था, हाइब्रिड गाड़ियों के प्रोडक्शन को भी सपोर्ट कर सकती है और 35 से ज़्यादा देशों में ग्लोबल एक्सपोर्ट में मदद करेगी।
