The Hindu · india

Bengaluru's Bal Bhavan is set to upgrade its hotel and kitchen facilities this week, with an investment of approximately ₹2 crore. The initiative aims to replace unhealthy processed foods with fresh, farmer-to-consumer options like fruits, juices, and millet-based dishes. Additionally, Bal Bhavan will introduce a batch-wise ticketing system for its popular toy train, "Putani Railu," to manage crowds and reduce waiting times on weekends and holidays. This change will allow more children to enjoy the ride efficiently.
