Heavy rains in Andhra Pradesh have damaged approximately 690 km of Roads & Buildings roads, with an estimated restoration cost of Rs 402.18 crore. The damage was reported across 13 districts, with Srikakulam experiencing the most significant impact, losing nearly 250 km of roads. Officials are prioritizing road safety and uninterrupted movement, with temporary repairs underway and permanent solutions planned. The state has deployed resources and established control rooms to manage the ongoing situation and ensure public safety during the continuous rainfall.

आंध्र प्रदेश में भारी बारिश से करीब 690 किलोमीटर सड़कें और इमारतें क्षतिग्रस्त हो गई हैं। इन्हें ठीक कराने में लगभग 402.18 करोड़ रुपये का खर्च आएगा। 13 जिलों में नुकसान हुआ है, जिसमें श्रीकाकुलम सबसे ज्यादा प्रभावित है, जहां करीब 250 किलोमीटर सड़कें बह गईं। अधिकारी सड़क सुरक्षा और आवागमन सुचारू रखने को प्राथमिकता दे रहे हैं। अस्थायी मरम्मत का काम चल रहा है और पक्के समाधान की योजना है।
