Sanjay Raut Alleges FDA Officials Extorting Businesses

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut has accused Maharashtra Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) officials of extorting large sums of money from hotels and quick-commerce firms. He alleged that officials are threatening businesses with licence suspensions to extract payments, bypassing legal procedures. Raut demanded an independent inquiry into these alleged extortion rackets operating from FDA headquarters in Bandra and Thane offices. He stated that business operators from multiple cities have approached him with complaints about these practices.

शिवसेना (यूबीटी) नेता संजय राउत ने महाराष्ट्र फूड एंड ड्रग्स एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन (FDA) के अधिकारियों पर होटल और क्विक-कॉमर्स कंपनियों से बड़ी रकम वसूलने का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि अधिकारी कानूनी प्रक्रियाओं को दरकिनार कर पैसे ऐंठने के लिए लाइसेंस निलंबित करने की धमकी दे रहे हैं। राउत ने बांद्रा और ठाणे स्थित FDA मुख्यालय से संचालित इन कथित उगाही रैकेटों की स्वतंत्र जांच की मांग की है। उन्होंने कहा कि कई शहरों के व्यवसाय संचालकों ने इन प्रथाओं के बारे में उनसे शिकायत की है।
