West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari announced that his government will introduce stringent laws against 'love jihad' and 'land jihad' within six months. He also stated that the state will implement a Uniform Civil Code, following the examples of Uttarakhand and Gujarat. Adhikari emphasized that the government will uphold the Constitution while protecting Indian culture and traditions. The Chief Minister also mentioned plans for a religious tourism circuit, with Rs 1,000 crore allocated for its completion in two years.

पश्चिम बंगाल के मुख्यमंत्री सुवेंदु अधिकारी ने घोषणा की कि उनकी सरकार छह महीने के भीतर 'लव जिहाद' और 'लैंड जिहाद' के खिलाफ कड़े कानून लाएगी। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि राज्य उत्तराखंड और गुजरात के उदाहरणों का पालन करते हुए समान नागरिक संहिता लागू करेगा। अधिकारी ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि सरकार भारतीय संस्कृति और परंपराओं की रक्षा करते हुए संविधान का पालन करेगी। मुख्यमंत्री ने धार्मिक पर्यटन सर्किट की योजनाओं का भी उल्लेख किया, जिसके पूरा होने के लिए दो साल में 1,000 करोड़ रुपये आवंटित किए गए हैं।
