India Calls Elon Musk's Starlink Claims 'Baseless'

India's Centre has strongly refuted Elon Musk's claims that Starlink is being blocked by "oligarchs" to maintain "monopolistic chokeholds." The Ministry of Communications stated that India has a fair and non-discriminatory authorization framework for all telecommunication services, including satellite communications. Musk had alleged that certain powerful entities were obstructing Starlink's commercial launch in India. The ministry clarified that three companies, including Starlink, have received licenses and are undergoing security assessments, with all being at a similar regulatory stage.

भारत सरकार ने Elon Musk के उन दावों का कड़ा खंडन किया है कि "एकाधिकार" बनाए रखने के लिए "कुलीन" लोग Starlink को रोक रहे हैं। संचार मंत्रालय ने कहा कि भारत में सैटेलाइट संचार सहित सभी दूरसंचार सेवाओं के लिए एक निष्पक्ष और गैर-भेदभावपूर्ण प्राधिकरण ढांचा है। Musk ने आरोप लगाया था कि कुछ शक्तिशाली संस्थाएं भारत में Starlink के वाणिज्यिक लॉन्च में बाधा डाल रही हैं। मंत्रालय ने स्पष्ट किया कि Starlink सहित तीन कंपनियों को लाइसेंस मिल चुके हैं और वे सुरक्षा मूल्यांकन से गुजर रही हैं, सभी एक समान नियामक चरण में हैं।
